Why Attend?

Sub-Saharan East Africa has high risks of drought, flood, famine and conflicts; plus this region currently holds over 2,800,000 refugees at the world largest and oldest camps and has over 10 million displaced people. Therefore most countries in East Africa depend on (development) aid from abroad.

By attending the AIDF Africa Summit 2016 at the United Nations Conference Centre you’ll hear about the latest initiatives, innovations and development strategies in the region, especially around the use of mobile devices, health & WASH programmes, safety and financing. You will be able to compare your approaches and benefit from first-hand insight from regional and international development and humanitarian experts.

AIDF will help you to build long lasting partnerships and more effective collaborations. In only two days you will discover new business opportunities, exchange ideas and influence regional development and humanitarian goals.
